There are more than 1.5 billion people in the world with no legal identity. What’s more, it’s estimated that 600 million children alive today have no registered birth. Access to official identification is one of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. It calls for every person to have a legal identity by 2030.
We're on it.
Biometric ID doesn’t have to be complicated. We’ve designed a simple, end-to-end approach to identification that’s reliable, cost-effective and meets the highest global standards. Our approach is customizable and designed to suit the needs of any market.
We’ve been in the business of biometrics since 2001. With roots in Philips’s biometrics research division, our global team has the experience and know-how necessary to deliver challenging, large-scale ID programs.
From our dedicated office in Ghana, we’ve worked with partners to deliver national identification projects in Ghana, Tanzania, Cameroon, Kenya and Mozambique. To date, we’ve processed more than 110 million identities. And we’re just getting started.
Our work depends on strong partner relationships. We work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions that are simple to integrate and tailored to requirements.
