GenKey, the leading provider of biometric identity solutions for Elections and Healthcare, will take part in the 11th International Electoral Affairs Symposium, which will take place in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on November 13-14, 2015. GenKey will provide a workshop at the conference and participate with a booth at the exhibition.
The event, organized by the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies (ICPS) together with the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary – Mexico, brings together international electoral officials, academic experts and global solution providers to share experiences, assess new technologies and discuss ongoing challenges in election management. The symposium will address topics such as equality in the value of votes, and current and emerging technologies that could transform elections.
Martin Beyerlein, Director Sales of GenKey, will provide an interactive workshop entitled “The Use of Technology / Biometrics in the Voting Process – ‘Curse or Blessing’” on the first day of the symposium (November 13, at 14:35). The discussion will be focused on the use of biometrics in the registration (BVR) and verification (BVV) phases of a project, the goals and challenges as well as lessons learned in various projects.
