On June 18-20, GenKey will participate in ID4Africa 2019, the 5th Annual Meeting of the ID4Africa Forum, which will take place at the Emperors Palace Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa. Senior business executives will be present at Booth D05 to share the latest information about GenKey’s privacy-by-design technologies and market-tested identification solutions for national programs, such as elections, healthcare, and social protection initiatives.
ID4Africa is the Annual Pan-African Forum & Exposition on digital identity (eID) and its applications for driving socio-economic development in Africa. The forum brings together identity authorities, international development agencies, domain experts and the world’s leading ID solution providers. This year’s forum will be on the theme “Identity Ecosystems for Service Delivery”.
To develop identification ecosystems that enable quality service delivery in Africa, it is critical to engineer privacy by design features into ID schemes from the start. With virtually all ID schemes now involving some biometric modality for enrolment and identity verification, considerations on how to protect biometric data are key. GenKey will throw light on its BioHASH®, a radically different approach to storing and comparing biometric information at the forum.
We will also share our vast experience in delivering identification solutions for successful biometric elections, national health insurance programs, and social registries across Africa.
